About The Glass Guru

George Wise started in the outdoor equipment business in 1976 and had established a dealer network in both North and South Carolina. The company serviced over two-hundred power equipment dealers in the Carolinas. When the economic situation started changing, many manufacturers began changing the way they had been doing business. This was especially true with the foreign manufacturers that Wise had built it's business around. The outdoor power industry was undergoing drastic changes and most of these changes were not good for independent distributors. I decided to close this business on December 31, 2009.

After researching several different franchise opportunities, George was convinced that The Glass Guru offered the exact opportunities I was searching to obtain. It was the franchise that offered the foundation on which he could build a good solid, long term and rewarding business that would be a solid part of the community for many years to come. After just a few short weeks of operating he was convinced that this was one of his best business decisions. We have had only satisfied customers, and when you can say that, you know that you are in the right place.

Our company has a total of five employees at the present time. Needless to say, business is good and we are making all efforts to make sure it stays that way.
